People are starting to get the feels from this modern tribal vibe. Recently come to life, it's located along the stunning pacific coastline of Costa Rica. This bohemian boutique hotel is home in the enchanting town of Dominical, Puntarenas Province and is now open for bookings. I do warn you though.... the pool area has a very special energy, equipped with gorgeous hammocks, swing pods and day beds... I dare you to try to only stay there for one hour.....can you say oasis? I am very proud to have been involved with this project all while working in mother nature's glory.
PASSION FOR DESIGN
I cannot tell you how easy it was to work with Neil. He’s obviously got a huge passion for design, a contagious enthusiasm, loves finding items that he knows will match your style and is such a detail oriented person, he even chose brilliant accents and accessories. From concept to manifestation, the restyling of my home was an absolute joy and I look forward to consulting him again for future purchases.
THE EXTRA MILE
Neil’s got a love for luxury and is naturally chic, but he’s also a down to earth caring individual with determination to spare. He genuinely cares about people and his desire to help shines through in everything he does. When a job needs to get done Neil will always go the extra mile to make sure it’s a success.
and sometimes I get to style products.
Had the pleasure of incorporating some living walls into the design of a French Inspired Bistro in Toronto's east end.
The metallic foil catches the changing sunlight throughout the day. Its fun the watch how it reflects the warm glow of the foil as you move around and if the lights are just right.
Leslieville Man Cave
While the owner was away on vacation I used that time to apply the many layers of paint needed to achieve my signature Faux Concrete Finish to these walls. With the addition of new furniture and masculine botanicals this "Man Den" is super unique and sleek.
Here is a close up of a shoot we did for W STUDIO. I Styled and Art Directed this project giving each rug lifestyle suggestions with some pretty stunning Furniture and luxury decor items.
Each rug was positioned like a photographers backdrop.... how "studio"?
Found these stunning pendants in one of my favourite shop's in the Junction. Perfect for a nod to that french industrial feeling I was going for.
Here we have another salon that wanted a Feature Wall for their home studio but this time we went for the Faux Concrete with the silver foil.
Queen West Salon
The Cabinet Salon enlisted my services for a cool feature wall behind their wash stations. The queen west establishment recently celebrated their 10 year anniversary. Such a beautiful space and really lovely staff.
I do have a reputation for creating some beautiful vignettes. Gotta love the layers!
Chef's Table (VIP)
To help celebrate the history of the building... I built this gorgeous feature wall for the chef's table with salvaged tin tiles found on the property dating from the early 1900's.
Faux Spotty Concrete
Giving new life to this Cabbagetown fireplace. Makeover's can really lift your living space and offer exciting new energy.
This was definitely the longest backdrop I've painted to date running at 40 feet long. I need to entire back yard to stretch this puppy out.
